Be on the lookout for this year’s donation bag in your News Advertiser today! If you don’t see a donation bag in your paper today - not to worry! Our Youth Team will be handing out bags at the Pickering Town Centre on Saturday, May 4^th.   So be on the lookout for our teams at the main entrances from noon to 3pm. 

2013 FOOD DRIVE Announcement

Our 4th Annual Food Drive will take place Saturday, May 11, 2013. Check the list of foods needed this year. Look for your donation bag in your Pickering News Advertiser on May 2nd of at Pickering Town Centre  the two weekends before May 11th.

High school students welcome and volunteer hours letters provided.

We are looking for our best response ever because no one in our community should suffer hunger; especially children. Come on Pickering: WE CAN DO THIS.

City Wide Food Drive 2013

Folks, we are hours away from our formal announcement for our 2013 food drive. Stay tuned for all the details you will need to participate in this important initiative. We will first update the Food Items Needed Most 2013 tab.

Thanks to everyone who helps make this Food Drive a reality. Pickering Cares has already collected approximately 24 tons of food for our two Food Bank Partners inn Pickering and Ajax.
