Thank You Residents of Pickering

Thank you Pickering! Your support of our 5^th annual door-to-door Community Food Drive was a tremendous success. 

On Saturday, May 10^th (under beautiful sunny skies) we collected over 8,000 lbs. of food bringing the total food collected over the past 5 years to over 35 tons of food.

A special thanks to the more than 200 volunteers who helped to make the 2014 Pickering Cares Community Door-to-Door Food Drive another huge success!

Our 5^th Annual Food Drive happens on Saturday, May 10^th, 2014. Donation bags will be available in the Pickering News Advertiser on Thursday, May 1^st.

Volunteers are needed! If you are interested in helping out with our Food Drive, please email pickeringcaresvolunteers@gmail.com Volunteer hours are available and we welcome all high school students!
